OIL OF WILD OREGANO

BENEFITS

All the benefits without the "hot" taste!

We know, Oil of Wild Oregano is not the best tasting therapeutic essential oil, but it’s normal. Oil of Wild Oregano is considered a “hot” essential oil. It will feel “spicy hot” when the oil is swallowed, or when it touches any mucous membrane.
Solutions4Health Oil of Wild Oregano is appropriately diluted with a carrier oil so that it can be used for both internal consumption and external use.
Solutions4Health Vegicaps contain the exact same formula as our liquid, with each capsule containing 100mg of Oregano oil which is approximately 15-18 drops.

Oil of Wild Oregano is one of Nature’s most potent fighters.

It contains powerful biogenic volatile compounds, namely Carvacrol and Thymol which are oxygenated monoterpenes. These components are what reduce the abiotic stress of the plant, and defend it against herbivores, and pathogens. Much like it is fighting off a “cold”.3 Carvacrol and Thymol have been extensively studied and have been found to have numerous therapeutic qualities. Carvacrol and thymol are very powerful compounds on their own, but the therapeutic effects are greater when they are working together.4 Like they do in the Oregano plant. These benefits are made available to you without the need to mix or dilute the oil. Our Oil of Wild Oregano (and our other products) is appropriately diluted with a carrier oil so that it can be used for both internal consumption and external use.

Nature's Advantage Over Pharmaceutical Antibiotics

The advantage of Oil of Wild Oregano over that of pharmaceutical antibiotics is that bacteria, fungi and viruses find it extremely difficult to build a resistance to it. On the other hand, resistance to pharmaceutical drugs is commonplace, and a growing problem. When you think of it in terms of “Science of Nature” vs “Man Made”, it makes perfect sense. The constituents of pharmaceutical drugs are adulterated and replicated over and over to produce a particular type of antibiotic. The Origanum Vulgare plant on the other hand is created by nature. Because environmental conditions always differ, even if only slightly, the specific constituents of the plant will differ each season. With the power and methodology that nature possesses, these ever-changing levels are still brought together in synergy each time, to create a plant which is never precisely the same, but one which results in effective end properties. This renders it extremely difficult for bacteria, fungi and viruses to keep up and build a resistance.1,2

Yes! PubMed is the world's #1 database for scientific evidence based literature. There are over 850 studies in PubMed alone. There are also many more evidence based studies on the therapeutic properties of Oregano Oil.

Is Your Oil Tested?

Many analyses are performed, such as Microbiological and Chemical Analyses including use of Gas Chromatography on the Oil of Wild Oregano for the presence of harmful amounts of infectious microbes, chemicals or heavy metals.

Is Your Oil Standardized?

Our Oil of Wild Oregano is not standardized and never will be! Standardization includes the adulteration and/or the alteration of a product. To standardize Oregano Oil, a constituent must be added or taken away, and this does not benefit the consumer as the 3 main chemical constituents work synergistically together to provide the therapeutic qualities of Oil of Wild Oregano, not on their own. Many studies have shown that the main chemical constituent; Carvacrol, a great antibiotic, does not work on its own. Tests have shown that pure Carvacrol is not as effective as pure Oil of Wild Oregano4. Whether it is increasing the Carvacrol by fractioning the essential oil after distillation by boiling off other natural components to increase the Carvacrol content; or adding Carvacrol to the water during distillation or afterwards; or even removing whole parts of the plant's makeup, it puts the natural synergy of the active constituents out of balance. We would rather give you what nature provided, that has naturally high Carvacrol vs. the highly over claimed products on the market.
