Natural & Unadulterated

Not all brands of essential oils are made the same. Solutions4Health stands by the principle of 100% natural. We do not standardize or adulterate. We understand the synergy of natural compounds is the key to potent medicinal properties. We do not have any “fillers” such as synthetic carvacrol, or thymol (two main active ingredients found in Oregano Oil). Adulteration can result in the end product having higher levels of Thymol than that which is naturally occurring. Thymol has a high degree of toxicity. Levels should be less than 5%. Other brands may contain up to 40% thymol, a highly toxic level. Solutions4Health's Oil of Wild Oregano always maintains a safe thymol level below 2%, all while still preserving nature's purity.

Quality Control & Certified

Quality is at the heart of everything we do. Our therapeutic range undergoes rigorous testing to meet the highest standards of purity and potency. Our therapeutic ranges are listed with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). Our products are manufactured in TGA, GMP-compliant, and Australian Certified Organic facilities. We perform comprehensive tests for chemical constituents, heavy metals, and a range of microbiological tests, including: Microbiological and Chemical Analyses Gas Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry.

Nature's Advantage

Resistance to pharmaceutical antibiotics and the rise of “superbugs” is a global health issue. Oil of Wild Oregano offers an effective alternative. Unlike pharmaceutical antibiotics, bacteria, fungi, and viruses find it extremely difficult to build resistance to it. With the power and methodology that only nature possesses, the constituents of Origanum vulgare plant, change slightly each season due to varying environmental conditions. These natural variations ensure that the plant’s compounds are never exactly the same but always work in perfect synergy. This constant shift in composition makes it difficult for pathogens to adapt, preventing them from developing resistance.

Ready to Use

Solutions4Health is not just a supplier of essential oils - Solutions4Health products are nutraceutical products that contain emulsified essential oils. The essential oil of Wild Oregano in its pure form is very potent and carries risks when handled by a consumer in its pure form. When using it in this form, the consumer MUST be cautioned, and directed with clear instructions to achieve appropriate dilution, so as to ensure a correct and safe dose is consumed. This is the case whether it's being used for internal or external consumption (including when in capsule form). Consumers can rest easy with Solutions4Health's Oil of Wild Oregano. It is emulsified in a carrier oil at ratios that achieve appropriate dilution, ready for immediate use. Our capsules are vegan, and gluten free! There is 100mg of emulsified Oregano oil per capsule.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will my bottle last?

If the recommended dosage is taken (1-5 drops, 3 times daily), a 50ml bottle will last 20 weeks

How do you take it?

Solutions4Health Oil of Wild Oregano can be taken orally in juice, or water; 1-5 drops 3 times daily or as prescribed by your healthcare practitioner. It can also be applied topically as needed. It is important that a patch test is always done first, and sensitive areas of the body are avoided.

What does the TGA do?

The Therapeutic Goods Administration is part of the Australian Government Department of Health that is responsible for the regulation of the safety, quality, efficacy and advertising of therapeutic goods. The TGA performs these functions through administration of the relevant legislation, the Therapeutic goods Act 1989 and related legislation such as the Therapeutic Goods Regulations 1990 and the Therapeutics Goods Advertising Code (No.2) 2018.

Isn't it bad to take essential oils internally?

Oil of Wild Oregano is considered a "hot" essential oil. Oil of Wild oregano oil feels "spicy hot" when you swallow it (or when it touches any mucous membrane). The spicy hot feeling is normal and is a typical characteristic of the oil . The burning sensation will pass. It is important to remember however that not all oils are created for internal use. Solutions4Health Oil of Wild Oregano is already appropriately diluted with a carrier oil so that it can be used for both internal consumption and external use.

Have there been scientific studies?

Yes! PubMed is the world's #1 database for scientific evidence based literature. There are over 850 studies in PubMed alone. There are also many more evidence based studies on the therapeutic properties of Oregano Oil.

Is your oil tested?

Many analyses are performed, such as Microbiological and Chemical Analyses including use of Gas Chromatography on the Oil of Wild Oregano for the presence of harmful amounts of infectious microbes, chemicals or heavy metals.

Is your oil standardised?

Our Oil of Wild Oregano is not standardized and never will be! Standardization includes the adulteration and/or the alteration of a product. To standardize Oregano Oil, a constituent must be added or taken away, and this does not benefit the consumer as the 3 main chemical constituents work synergistically together to provide the therapeutic qualities of Oil of Wild Oregano, not on their own. Many studies have shown that the main chemical constituent; Carvacrol, a great antibiotic, does not work on its own. Tests have shown that pure Carvacrol is not as effective as pure Oil of Wild Oregano4. Whether it is increasing the Carvacrol by fractioning the essential oil after distillation by boiling off other natural components to increase the Carvacrol content; or adding Carvacrol to the water during distillation or afterwards; or even removing whole parts of the plant's makeup, it puts the natural synergy of the active constituents out of balance. We would rather give you what nature provided, that has naturally high Carvacrol vs. the highly over claimed products on the market.
