      Does the liquid taste strong?

      Oil of Wild Oregano is considered a “hot” essential oil and has a spicy hot sensation when swallowed or when it touches any mucous membrane. This burning sensation is normal and will pass; though it can feel quite strong. 

      If you don't drink juice, water is perfectly fine too. The only thing to note is that oil and water don't mix particularly well, so the oil may simply float on top.

      Many customers take it straight as you do, while others have told us they enjoy it mixed into coconut water or even chai tea.

      Also an important note the essential oil of Wild Oregano in its pure form is very potent and carries risks when handled by a consumer in its pure form. When using it in this form, the consumer MUST be cautioned, and directed with clear instructions to achieve appropriate dilution, so as to ensure a correct and safe dose is consumed.

      Isn't it bad to take essential oils internally?

      Oil of Wild Oregano is considered a "hot" essential oil. Oil of Wild oregano oil feels "spicy hot" when you swallow it (or when it touches any mucous membrane).       Can I take it every day?

      Yes, all products are formulated for daily use.
      Solutions4Health products are not just essential oils — they’re nutraceuticals, meaning our oils are already emulsified in certified organic extra virgin olive oil to ensure proper dilution and to enable for immediate internal and external use.
      When you are using it as a general health tonic or to boost your immune system, you can take minimal dosages in accordance with the directions on our labelling. When you take the product daily as per the dosage recommendation on the label, we do not see the need for a break.
      In addition to its use as a daily tonic, oregano oil is traditionally used to support a range of health issues. As a TGA-listed product, we cannot provide dosage advice beyond what appears on our labelling. For higher or therapeutic dosages, guidance must come from a qualified health practitioner, as they may recommend different approaches depending on the issue being addressed.
      Oregano oil has strong antibacterial and antifungal properties. Accordingly, some practitioners may suggest higher dosages for specific concerns. If taken at a therapeutic dose (under professional guidance) for an extended period, then a break and a good probiotic may be beneficial. As with pharmaceutical antibiotics, oregano oil targets bacteria — and you may experience some bacterial die-off (Herxheimer reaction), which can make you feel worse before you feel better.

      Can I take this product at the same time as other products in the Solutions4Health range?

      All our products can be used in combination, apart from our blends as they already contain dosages of Oil of Wild Oregano or other forms of Oregano ( We do not recommend exceeding overall dosage of the same type of product eg. do not take 1-5 drops 3x daily as well as 1 capsule daily of Oil of Wild Oregano). We recommend consulting your healthcare provider before combining multiple supplements or making changes to your supplement routine, especially if you are taking any prescription medications.
